A serious piece of acacia - 400 x 300 mm and a full 35 mm thick, with a juice groove routed around the edge so a resting roast doesn't end up all over the bench. Engraved with your chosen monogram and finished in food-grade teak oil.
Why it costs what it costs
Most personalised boards you'll find are 12–18 mm bamboo. This is nearly double the thickness in solid acacia, which means it doesn't warp, it doesn't rock on the bench, and it can be resurfaced and re-oiled for decades. It's a chopping board you display, not one you hide in a cupboard.

Common questions
How thick is it?
A full 35mm, in solid acacia, measuring 400 x 300mm. Most personalised boards sold in New Zealand are 12 to 18mm, so this is roughly double the thickness.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
No. Hand wash and re-oil occasionally with food-grade oil, and it will last for decades and can be resurfaced.
What can be engraved on it?
Family names, a couple's names with a wedding date, a new address, or a message. 48 monogram designs are available, or send us your own artwork.

Every piece is designed, engraved and finished by Amy & Ben in our Auckland workshop, New Zealand. Nothing is printed offshore, and there are no minimum orders on personalised gifts.
