Shipping policy
Thank you for visiting and shopping at theoccasionco.nz. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.
Domestic Shipping Policy
Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within 1-2 weeks but often faster, the most up to date processing times are on our homepage. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Shipping rates & delivery estimates
We use NZ Post Overnight Courier (Tracked) options for all orders, our flat rate for standard domestic shipping is $5.99 and is usually delivered next day except for rural deliveries. Please note delivery time is separate to our standard processing time.
*Overnight delivery is only available for orders with delivery addresses in the North Island of New Zealand.
Delivery delays can occasionally occur. We use NZ Post for our products and we will contact you if we have received notification of a delay.
Shipment to PO Boxes Private Bags
The Occasion Co. ships to addresses within NZ, and PO Boxes and Private Bags based in New Zealand.
Shipment confirmation & Order tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
The Occasion Co. is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
Damages
The Occasion Co. is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
International Shipping Policy
We do not currently ship outside New Zealand and Australia.
Australia Shipping
We use NZ Post and every item is tracked, our flat rate for shipping to Australia is $19.99.
